So who are you again?
I’m Eden Detwiler. Most importantly, I’m a Christian and a child of God because Jesus Christ has saved me from my sins. I’m also a writer, reader, avid coffee drinker, and ardent admirer of my dog Milo.

Currently, I have 633 pictures of Milo on my camera role. I know, I know. I need more.
What’s your life mission?
To glorify God! This means that I want to know God and share what he has done for me in every area of my life, especially in writing!
I want to write about goodness, truth, and beauty through my stories that point to the gospel of Jesus. He is the ultimate Author and by writing my little stories I worship and emulate him.
Beautiful! What’s your favorite type of drink?
We’ve already touched on my coffee addiction, right? Give me a cup in the morning with a splash of cream any day.
Favorite book?
I have to choose?! That’s soooooooo not happening.
Top favorite book is the Bible. Other than that I love Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis Majors, The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson, and The Lunar Chronicles Series by Marissa Meyer. Happy reading!
Favorite food?
Your questions are so narrow-minded. Sushi. Any type of Asian food. Broccoli Cheese Soup. And ICE CREAM.
If you could have any fantasy animal, what would you choose?
Should I be like everyone else and just say dragon? Cause that would be AWESOME. A flying horse would be nice too.
What fictional character are you most like?
I mean, I want to say Elizabeth Bennet because of Mr. Darcy, obviously.
However, if we’re being more accurate, if you put all the Little Women sisters in a blender then you would probably come out with someone like me. I’m an independent, moody author like Jo, a responsible older sister like Meg, a dramatic artist like Amy, and sweet but sometimes timid like Beth.
Do you like music?
What kind of question is that? OF COURSE. I love classical, soundtracks, worship, and on occasion, some pop. Dance parties at my house are a regular occurrence.
Where do you live?
In the great state of Kentucky but who knows where God will take me in the future. Hopefully somewhere exotic!
How long have you liked to write?
Before I could even write I was telling stories to my Mom and Grannie so they would put it down for me. While my first “publications” were about small, talking animals, I’ve got into slightly bigger territory as time went on.
When I was thirteen , I finished my first novel. It came in at a whopping 104,000 words. Not joking. It was basically my love letter to every book I had ever written as first novels usually are.
Are you working on something now?
Um, yes!!!! I’m so glad you asked. Right now I’m working on hopefully what will be my debut novel! You can watch my progress real time on my Youtube Channel!
